The Data-to-Action Campaign for Parenting Students has generated new insights into how to identify parenting students and advance their success. The Urban Institute team partnered with seven community colleges, two universities, and one citywide community college system to collect parenting-status data and use these insights to shape policies, supports, and services that help parents complete degrees and credentials. From this work, we have developed standards of practice and data strategies to support student success. These lessons can inform efforts across colleges, state systems, and federal policymaking.
This hybrid event will highlight insights from the Data-to-Action Campaign with speakers, a panel, and an opportunity to connect with college leaders from across the community of practice.
